Thomas Wozonig was born in 1992 in Gleinstätten. He studied Musicology and Music Theorie at the University of Graz and the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, where he received his MA with a thesis on the Bohemian composer Jan Ladislav Dussek. During his studies, he was a student assistant at the Centre for Gender Studies and the university library at the same university. He currently writes his PhD thesis on the reception and interpretation history of Jean Sibelius.
